Mike Frost, a native of Houston, embarked on his creative journey in the late 90s within the city's vibrant underground music scene. His passion for the fusion of art and music led him to assume the pivotal role of Creative Director for the burgeoning startup record label, Swishahouse. In this capacity, he swiftly emerged as the go-to photographer and designer for Houston's dynamic hip-hop culture.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked with an impressive array of clients, including prominent names such as Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Swishahouse, Rap-A-Lot, and many other influential figures in the music industry.
His contributions extend beyond his creative work, as he proudly serves as a valued member of the City of Houston Music Advisory Board. Additionally, Mike Frost is a Voting Member and Special Committees Member within The Recording Academy, the organization behind the prestigious Grammy Awards.
Mike's impact on the music industry is further underscored by his accolades from the Recording Industry Of America (RIAA), boasting 4 Platinum and 2 Gold Records for his exceptional packaging design and photography skills. His reach also extends to the Canadian music scene, where he has been recognized with 2 Platinum Records by the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA).
